Obviously I'm very excited.
I met with my new surgeon today. He told me I could go with the sleeve but I had to be open to having it revised later to the RNY because the sleeve was going to make my reflux worse. Being as I'd ultimately have to have the RNY to repair the reflux issue I just opted to go with the RNY, no point in having two surgeries.
Now the waiting begins. August 19th is the soonest they could get me in. Granted they do have an opening next week but that isn't enough time to have it approved by my insurance.
